Let's Talk About Charter Legislation

Currently, Georgia lawmakers are considering two bills, HB 202 and SB 82, aimed at incentivizing local approval for charter schools. These bills will:

  • Provide best practices for authorizing public charter schools to support local districts.
  • Encourage local district approvals.
  • Increase transparency in the charter school approval process.
  • Establish accountability when high-quality local charter school applications are denied.

Join us on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 7 PM for a virtual discussion with Rahn Mayo from the Georgia Charter Schools Association. He will break down the legislation and explain how it could bring new educational options to your community.

This is a virtual event. Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link.
