Parent Action Center

If we’re going to realize our vision of a Georgia where all students excel in rigorous and relevant schools, we need your help. By contacting your legislators on key education issues, staying in the loop for future opportunities to act or supporting us financially, you can be a critical partner in our work for our state’s kids.

Sign up for our emails

Sign up for our emails and stay in the know! We’ll give you opportunities to take action on key education issues, update you on the latest education news and share our reports on Georgia schools. We’ll also promise not to share your contact information with others.

Attend an Event

Whether it’s a parent meet-up or advocacy training, GeorgiaCAN hosts a variety of events that bring together like-minded advocates for our students.

Read from a selection of parent resources

We’ve put together a number of resources to help families navigate the education system — from our Special Education Family Guide to back-to-school resources.

Follow us on social

Follow us on social to stay up to date on what the teams are up to, learn more about advocacy and join the conversation.

Contact your legislator

Your voice matters. When Georgia students, parents, educators, and community members speak up, policymakers listen. If you care about strengthening K-12 education in Georgia and want to help address the challenges facing our schools today, we encourage you to reach out to your elected officials and make your thoughts heard.

Donate

We love individual donors and nothing makes us more proud than when a fellow advocate chooses to support our work.
