Parent Fellow
Kayla is a special education teacher, department chair, and advocate, She is passionate about creating equitable, inclusive learning environments for students with disabilities. Throughout her career, she has worked to ensure families feel seen, supported, and empowered to navigate the special education system. She is honored to join the GeorgiaCAN Parent Fellowship and excited to deepen my impact through the launch of the Special Education Advocacy Network—a project focused on equipping parents with the tools and confidence to advocate for their children and drive meaningful change in our schools.
