Parent Fellow

Lasharn Ferroudj is a seasoned educator with over 25 years in public education and a passionate advocate for special education, school choice, and neurodiversity. A certified mediator and neurodiversity pedagogy specialist, Lasharn integrates her background in education and natural health to empower families through workshops, courses, and coaching. Her journey has been shaped by raising and educating her own children across public, private, and homeschool settings, giving her a personal stake in advancing flexible, student-centered learning.

Lasharn is a GeorgiaCAN EPIC 2024 graduate and a member of the Inaugural 50CAN FIRE Fellowship. She is also a podcast host, author, and conference presenter who continues to champion innovative education models and family engagement. Through her work, she is committed to amplifying parent and student voice, building networks across Georgia, and reshaping how families engage with education at every level.
