Are you ready to become a stronger advocate for your child and your community?

Join us for an education advocacy training where we’ll help you better understand how education decisions are made in Columbus and surrounding areas and how you can effectively engage in the process.

September 9, 2026
7:00pm to 8:00pm
Location: Virtual (Zoom)

During this interactive virtual training, you’ll learn:

  • Who serves on the Muscogee County Board of Education
  • How to identify your Board of Education representative
  • The role and responsibilities of the Board of Education
  • How to find and read Board meeting agendas
  • How to track the issues and priorities the Board is discussing each month
  • What education topics are currently trending in Columbus

Whether you’re brand new to advocacy or looking to become more involved, this session will give you the tools and confidence to take the first step.

Registration is required. Once you register, we’ll email you the Zoom link before the training.
